Digital Ads for Precision NanoSystems

My Role: Art Direction, Visual Design

Tools: Adobe Illustrator

A series of four digital ads for Google and 6Sense to promote MRNA development services for Precision NanoSystems (now part of Cytiva). Each ad was created with eight different dimensions.

Challenges

As each ad had eight versions, ensuring consistency while adapting each ad to the different dimensions was challenging. In addition, some ads had small dimensions which required balancing simple yet effective illustrations with sufficient space for text and a call-to-action (CTA). Lastly, it was necessary for the ads to be the exact dimensions required for them to be uploaded. I manually adjusted each ad to maintain the highest quality possible at 150 DPI to ensure both quality and the dimension size.

Ad 2 (top) and Ad 3 (bottom) which both had a dimension size of 970x90

Reflection

This set of four digital ads was a success, achieving 7.8k impressions, 414 clicks, a 5.22% CTR, 95 conversions, and 4 marketing qualified leads (MQLs). I experimented with various illustrations to convey the messaging, including a combined maze, lipid nanoparticle, and arrow. This process furthered my vector illustration skills. The final illustration was well received by the sales team and used in further graphics.

The LinkedIn and Google Ad (1:1) sizes of the four ads can be seen below.
